Last Friday, the 28th “Detective Conan” film started in Japan-with full success. We summarize the details of the first number of visitors.
Preferred predecessor
The new evening filler entitled “One-Eyed Flashback” was able to implement 697,355 tickets on the opening day, taking 1.06 billion yen (around 6.56 million euros). Within the first three days there were even 2,314,690 tickets sold with sales of 3.44 billion yen (approximately 21.3 million euros).
For comparison: For “Detective Conan: The 1 million dollar Ptentamram”, around 2.27 million tickets were sold in the first three days ago in the first three days and thus achieved income of 3.35 billion yen (20.8 million euros).
The 28th “Detective Conan” strip surpassed his predecessor and put the most successful start weekend of all films of the franchise.
The Studio TMS Entertainment, which also produces the associated anime series, was responsible for the production of the latest canvas offshoot. Katsuya Shigehara (key animation at “The Black Ubot”) directed the direction.
