On the official X account by the “Detective Conan” franchise, it was announced today that a 29th movie is currently in the works for an anime series. You can watch a first teaser below in this article.
Heavy start in spring 2026
According to current planning, the new evening filler should start in Japan during the Golden Week 2026, which takes place from April 29 to May 5, 2026. The focus is on the character Chihaya Hagiwara, which is set to music by Miyuki Sawashiro (Brunhilde in “Record of Ragnarok”). Further details are currently still open.
The predecessor who has the title “Detective Conan: The Flashback of the one -eyed” celebrated its premiere on April 18, 2025 in the Japanese cinemas. In Germany, the strip has been running in the cinema since August 26, 2025.
The associated series, which is based on the Gosho Aoyama manga of the same name, started on Japanese television in January 1996 and now comprises more than 1,100 episodes. A disc and vod release takes place through crunchyroll.
