The 15-part series will probably be available for access in the original week with a German subtitle in the coming weeks. A specific date is currently still open. We keep you up to date in this regard.
“Blades of the Guardians” was directed by Zhi Hui Deng (original design by “The Westward”) and Juansheng Shi (“Lan Mo’s Flower”) in the studio colored pencil animation. The first broadcast in China took place from June to August 2023. A second season has already been announced, but has no start date yet.
The Donghua is based on the original Uianzhe Xu series of the same name, which has been published in China since July 2015. The work appears in German by the publisher Chinabooks under the title “The Blades of the Guardians”.
