The streaming service ADN recently announced that the French anime adaptation from “Dreamland” will be brought to Germany. We summarize.
Series appears on Adn in 2026
The ten-part fantasy series “Dreamland” is currently being built under the direction of Joe Celse, who made her debut as a director, in the two studios Ellipse Animation and La Chouette Compagnie. The streaming service ADN acts as a co-producer and plans to publish the series in the course of next year.
The original manga series comes from the spring of the French Mangaka Reno Lemaire and has been published by the Pika Édition publisher in France since January 2006. The work currently comprises 22 volumes and has also been published in Japan since 2024.
A German -language release of the first 18 volumes took place between January 2013 and June 2019 by Tokyopop. It is still unclear whether and when the 19th volume will appear.
