
By opening an official website, it was announced today that the manga series »Akane Banashi« receives an anime adaptation. You can watch a first teaser and a visual below.

“Akane-Banashi” is being created under the direction of director Ayumu Watanabe (“You are Ms. Ms. Servant”) in the ZEXCS studio and will start on Japanese television in the course of 2026. Michihiro Tsuchiya (“Rising Impact”) wrote the script, while Kii Tanaka (“Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead”) contributes to character design.
In the main roles of the Japanese cast, Anna Nagase (Riko Amanai in “Jujutsu Kaisen”) can be heard as Akane Ousaki and Takuya Eguchi (Siei in “Tensura”) as Karashi Nerimaya. Rie Takahashi (Emilia in »Re: Zero«) Supported Hikaru Koragi.
The original manga series of the same name comes from Yuuki Suenaga and has been published in the “Weekly Shown Jump” magazine since February 2022. The work is available in Germany by Loewe Manga with a German translation.
