Publisher KSM Anime announced today that the original series “Akudama Drive” will soon be released in a Blu-ray complete box. We summarize.
Release in January 2026
The new Blu-ray complete box set of “Akudama Drive” will be released on January 22nd, 2026 and contains all twelve episodes with German dubbing and in Japanese with German subtitles. There is also a picture gallery, trailer and staff interviews as an extra. Pre-ordering is already possible.
KSM Anime previously released the action series in three individual volumes with a hard cardboard slipcase and exclusive extras. This edition is still available in limited quantities at Anime Planet and Amazon.
“Akudama Drive” was broadcast on Japanese television from October to December 2020 and is currently available on demand in a German language version on Prime Video and aniverse. The series also ran on ProSieben MAXX.
