On the official X account of the new anime implementation of “Anne Shirley” it was recently announced that it will take a two-week break in a few weeks. We summarize the details for you below.

As a result, the 19th episode is not broadcast on Japanese television on August 9, 2025, but only on August 23, 2025, while the 20th episode is moving to August 30, 2025. The reason for the program change are broadcasts of the 107th National High School Baseball Championship.
The Answer Studio is responsible for the production of the 24-part drama series, in which Hiroshi Kawamata (“Hal’s Flute”) direction and Natsuko Takahashi (“Farewell, My Dear Cramer”) writes the screenplay.
The VoD provider Crunchyroll and the Pay-Per-View-Service Akiba Pass TV have shown the anime since April 2025 in the Japanese original sound with German subtitles in the Simulcast. A disc release has not yet been announced.
