It took a proud six years until Yuuki Kaji, the voice actor of the character Eren Yeager from “Attack on Titan” (Japanese: “Shineki No Kyojin”), who put up iconic “Over There” scene. We summarize.

As part of the spring season 2019, the second part of the third “Attack on Titan” relay was broadcast on Japanese television. The audience got one of the most unforgettable scenes in the entire series – the moment when Eren Yeager lets the view over the endless sea for the first time.
This scene not only marked a decisive turning point in the plot when Eren first recognized that beyond the walls and the sea not only waited for freedom, but also new enemies for his people-it also became the origin of an Internet meme that imitated numerous fans worldwide and shared with the characteristic pose in social media.
Six years later, Yuuki Kaiji finally joined this trend and posted a picture of himself on his X-account on which he points to the sea-together with the words: “Things you want to do on a beach”.
