BamBam of GOT7 Releases First Thai Album HOMETOWN

BamBam, the rapper and singer from Kpop group GOT7, launched his first full Thai-language album, HOMETOWN, today. This moment marks a significant step in his solo career. The project shows his strong connection to Thailand and invites fans around the world to enjoy the sound and spirit of his homeland.

BamBam wrote and composed all five tracks himself. This gives emphasis to his growth as a musician. The album features collaborations with well-known Thai artists TIMETHAI, Jeff Satur, and INK WARUNTORN. The last track, “Angel In Disguise,” features production by Pharrell Williams, adding an international element to the release.

The album’s tracklist includes “ไม่มีใครสักคืน (Dancing By Myself)” featuring TIMETHAI, “มากกว่า Friend (More Than Friend)” featuring Jeff Satur, “WONDERING,” “ไฟเขียว (Greenlight)” featuring INK WARUNTORN, and “Angel In Disguise.” BamBam introduced the project with “Dancing By Myself,” which was released before the album. The music video, shot in a Bangkok sky lounge that overlooks the city, emphasizes the album’s polished production and modern look.

To promote HOMETOWN globally, BamBam performed “Angel In Disguise” on September 13 at Grace for the World. This concert took place at the Vatican, marking the first public musical event there in over 2,000 years. He performed in front of more than 300,000 people, showcasing his Thai heritage on a major global stage, which highlights the album’s cultural and artistic significance.


Through HOMETOWN, BamBam celebrates his roots while showing his growth as an artist. The album connects Thai identity with global influence, providing listeners with a genuine and emotional musical experience.

Kunpimook Bhuwakul, commonly known as BamBam, grew up in Bangkok, Thailand, where he began performing at a young age as part of the dance crew We Zaa Cool. He gained early experience through commercials and TV appearances before moving to South Korea at age 14 to train under JYP Entertainment. In 2014, he debuted as part of GOT7, gaining international success with hit releases across Asia and the United States. Known for his charisma, multilingual abilities, and dynamic stage presence, BamBam quickly became one of the group’s standout members.

Since starting his solo career in 2021, BamBam has explored his artistry beyond rap, showcasing his vocal and songwriting talents. In addition to music, he has made a strong name for himself in fashion through partnerships with Louis Vuitton and Yves Saint Laurent. He has also appeared on the covers of Harper’s Bazaar Men Thailand, Men’s Health Korea, and GQ Thailand.


With HOMETOWN, BamBam begins a new chapter in his artistic journey, mixing global success with a proud return to his cultural roots. The album celebrates Thai artistry and reflects his identity as a global performer.
