K-pop girl group Blackpink’s fans pose ahead of the group’s concert at Wembley Stadium in London on Friday (local time). The four-member group, enjoying a global following, became the second K-pop act to perform at the prestigious venue, following BTS six years ago.
Wembley Stadium is regarded as a milestone for pop musicians, having hosted Queen’s Live Aid concert in 1985 and performances by top artists such as Michael Jackson, Beyoncé, Taylor Swift and Oasis.
Reaching the midpoint of their world tour “Deadline,” which began in July, Blackpink is scheduled to perform at the stadium again on Saturday.
