On the official X account of the anime implementation of “Blue Miburo” (Japanese: “Ao No Miburo”), it was announced today that it will soon be continued with a second season. You can see a first teaser below.
Start in the winter of 2026
The sequel adapted the “Serizawa Assassination” Arc and starts on Japanese television in the Winter Season 2026. A specific date is still pending. We keep you up to date as usual.
The 24-part first season of “Blue Miburo”, which ran from October 2024 to March 2025 at ADN and Aniverse in Simulcast, was directed by Kumiko Habara (“Doctor Elise: The Royal Lady with the Lamp”) in the studio Maho Film.
The original manga series of the same name by Tsuyoshi Yasuda has been published in Japan since October 2021 in the »Weekly Shounen Magazine«. An English -language release takes place by the Kodansha USA publishing house.
