Since its inception, Boruto: Two Blue Vortex has been an impressive installment, highlighting characters with their newfound powers while the new villains, the Divine Trees, display their overwhelming strength. So far, the series has featured two major events filled with battles, with the latest ending on a positive note for the Shinobi. However, greater threats still loom ahead: While the ultimate danger lies with Jura, the leader of the Divine Trees, Chapter 26 of Boruto: Two Blue Vortexconfirms that Mamushi will be the next major threat.
Mamushi is the Divine Tree entity born when one of the Claw Grimes devoured Bug, the former Kara Outer tasked with guarding Eida and Daemon. Like the other Divine Trees, Mamushi developed a desire to devour a specific individual, shaped by the emotions of the human he originated from. Since Bug was affectionate toward Eida and spent his final days protecting her, Mamushi naturally set his sights on devouring her. The latest chapter confirms Mamushi’s move, as Kashin Koji uses his foresight to warn Shikamaru of the threat. With Mamushi preparing to attack Konoha and target Eida, it sets the stage for Boruto’s strongest character, Daemon, to rise and confront the danger.
Boruto‘s Upcoming Battle Will Be Fought Between Its (Arguably) Strongest Characters

Daemon, much like Eida, is one of the human cyborgs created by Amado using the husk of Shibai Otsutsuki, the only Otsutsuki to have attained godhood and transcended the physical realm. Shibai possessed numerous overpowered Shinjutsu, and the cyborgs created by Amado inherited these abilities. While Eida wields omnipotence and charm, Daemon possesses the Saint Reflection ability, which allows him to deflect anything directed at him, not just physical attacks, but even intent, making ninjutsu useless, as attackers end up harming themselves.
In addition, Daemon’s physical prowess has been shown to surpass even Jura and Code, making him arguably the strongest character in Boruto. However, he has rarely been featured in action, as his only desire is to protect his sister Eida, fighting only when she is in danger. With Mamushi now planning to kill Eida, it is expected that when he arrives in Konoha, Daemon will finally step up in full force, unleashing his true power to eliminate the threat.
This will give fans the long-awaited chance to see Daemon at his peak. Yet, it is unlikely to be a one-sided battle with Daemon immediately subduing his opponent. This fight may even reveal his hidden weakness. Regardless, Daemon’s confrontation with Mamushi in Boruto seems inevitable, as he will move to protect Eida, and fans will finally witness him in action after being held back until now.
