The Chained Soldier manga is taking an unexpected break due to health issues affecting illustrator Yohei Takemura, with the series set to resume on June 14. Takemura announced the hiatus on his official X (formerly Twitter) account, apologizing for the break taking place on May 31 and confirming the return date.
Season 2 of the anime is currently in production and set to premiere in 2026. HIDIVE is streaming the first season.
