The opening of an official website recently announced that the manga series “Chuhai Lips: Canned Flavor of Married Women” (Japanese: “Hitozuma no Kuchibiru Wa Kan Chuuhai No Aji Ga Shite”) receives anime implementation.
Start in July 2025
“Chuhai Lips” is being created under the direction of Hajime Keima, who also wrote the script, in Studio Raiose and will be broadcast on Japanese television from July 2025. Yoriko Karei contributes the character design.
In the main roles of the Japanese speaker cast, Takahide Ishii (Naoe Tomoatsu in “Plus-Sized Elf”) as Tsuyoshi and Shiho Kawaragi (Rinka Hayami in “Assassination Classroom”) can be heard as Yui Koriyama.
The original manga series of the same name comes from Suguru Engawa and has been released since February 2021 with drawings by Tama Nogami in the “Young Magazine” in Japan. The work is not available with German translation.
