The Japanese animation studio CloverWorks has recently announced a new original film. You can find a first teaser below.

The new evening filler is entitled “Grotesqqque” and is scheduled to celebrate its premiere in the Japanese cinemas in the course of the next year. However, a specific date is still pending.
The studio cloverwork is responsible for the production of the strip, in which Atsushi Nishigori (“Darling in the Franxx”) directs. Joen, a joint venture between Anlex, Cloverworks, Wit Studio and Shueisha, is involved as a producer.
The film consists of three separate stories with the titles “Aeliens”, “4649 Girl” and “Nocturne: Kono Grotesque Na Yoru Ni”, each bring their own perspective and reflect different worldviews.
