On the X account of the original series “ISEKAI Quartet” it was announced today that it will soon be continued with a third season. You can see a first picture of the announcement below.
New characters
The new episodes of the crossover anime bring together the characters from “overlord”, “Konosuba”, “Re: Zero”, “Saga of Tanya the Evil” and “The Rising of the Shield Hero”. The main characters from “The Eminence in Shadow” are new, which are set to music by their usual speakers in the original Japanese.
The Puyukai studio is again responsible for the production of the third season, in which Minoru Ashina (“Nights with a cat”) takes over the position of the director again. The start date is still pending.
The first two seasons of “ISEKAI Quartet” ran on Japanese television between April 2019 and April 2020. A sequel film celebrated its premiere in June 2022. All episodes are available at Crunchyroll, while Animoon publishing releases the series in relay boxes on DVD and Blu-ray from July 18, 2025.
