
The streaming service Crunchyroll announced today that it will soon be showing the anime adaptation of “Detective Conan” in a simulcast. We summarize.

The simulcast of “Detective Conan” begins on October 11, 2025 with episode 1178 on Crunchyroll. From now on, the latest episode will be available in the original sound with German subtitles every Saturday at 1:30 p.m.
Crunchyroll already offers an extensive “Detective Conan” catalog, which consists of the first 519 episodes of the series with German dubbing as well as 18 movies, on demand. On October 16, 2025, episodes 520 to 533, the last new episodes dubbed in German, will be added for the time being.
“Detective Conan” is produced by TMS Entertainment and has been running on Japanese television since January 1996. The German TV broadcast takes place every working day on ProSieben MAXX – currently with the TV premiere of episodes 484 to 533.
The premiere of the 29th screen spin-off will take place in Japanese cinemas in spring 2026. First details and a teaser video can be found here.
