The VoD service Crunchyroll announced today that the new compilation film for “Jujutsu Kaisen” will be brought to German cinemas. We summarize.
Global release in summer 2025
The evening filler is entitled “Jujutsu Kaisen: The hidden treasure / the spoiled treasure-the film” and summarizes the events of the “Hidden Inventory / Premature Death” arc from the second season. In addition, a new final scene for the theatrical version was created.
The international publication is scheduled to begin in the summer of 2025. A specific date for the theatrical release in Germany is still pending.
The Studio Mappa was responsible for the production of the strip, which celebrated its Japanese cinema premiere on May 30, 2025, in which Shouta Goshazono (Episode Director at »Chainsaw Man«) took over the position of the director.
The first two seasons of “Jujutsu Kaisen” and the Prequel film are already available on call at Crunchyroll. A third season that adapted the “Culling Game” Arc has already been announced, but has no start date yet.
