Sony Pictures Entertainment and Crunchyroll announced today that the new compilation and preview film of “Jujutsu Kaisen” will be shown in German cinemas in a few weeks. We summarize.
Cinema release in November 2025
The new evening filler entitled “Jujutsu Kaisen: Execution -Shibuya Incident x The Culling Game Begins-” consists of a summary of the “Shibuya Incident” arc from the second season as well as the first two episodes of the third season. The cinema release is planned for November 25, 2025 in the original sound with subtitles.
The MAPPA studio is responsible for the production of the film, which will premiere in Japanese cinemas on November 7, 2025, and is directed by Shouta Goshozono (episode director for “Chainsaw Man”).
Crunchyroll already offers all episodes of the first two seasons of “Jujutsu Kaisen” as well as the prequel film “Jujutsu Kaisen 0” on demand. The third season starts in January 2026 in the original Japanese version with subtitles in the simulcast.
