
The streaming service Crunchyroll announced today that it has secured the license for the second film for the anime adaptation of “That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime”, or “TenSura” for short. We summarize the details.
Date still open
The new film entitled “That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime the Movie: Tears of the Azure Sea” opens in Japanese cinemas on February 27, 2026. A date for Germany, Austria and Switzerland is still pending.
The studio 8-Bit is once again responsible for the production of the film. Although the others involved have not yet been named, it has already been confirmed that the Japanese voice actors will slip back into their old roles.
All episodes of the associated series, which now includes three seasons, as well as the first film “Feuerrote Gange” are already available on Crunchyroll. A fourth season is in the works, but has no date yet.
