
The streaming service Crunchyroll announced today that the second season of the Donghua series “Dragon Raja” (ZH.: “Long Zu”) will soon be shown in the Simulcast. We summarize the first details below.
Japanese version planned
The second season, which bears the title “Dragon Raja II-The Mourner’s Eyes”, starts in the course of the 2025 summer season in the Chinese original sound with subtitles at crunchyroll. A Japanese language version follows in October 2025.
The Garden Studio is responsible for the production of the sequel. Further details, such as the participants or a specific start date, are still pending at the current time. We keep you up to date.
The 16-part first season, which ran in China from August to November 2022, was directed by Xin Wang (“Hitori No Shita: The Outcast”) in the Hanabara Animation studio. Crunchyroll offers all episodes under the title “Dragon Raja: The Blazing Dawn” (Japanese: “Ryuzoku: The Blazing Dawn”) with subtitles.
