On the official X account of the anime implementation of “Daemons of the Shadow Realm” (Japanese: “Yomi No Tsugai”), it was announced today that it will start on Japanese television in the course of next year. There is a teaser below.

“Daemons of the Shadow Realm” is being created under the direction of director Masahiro Andou (“Under the Dog”) in the Bones film studio. Noboru Takagi (“In/Specter”) wrote the script, while Nobuhiro Arai contributes the character design.
In the main roles of the Japanese speaker cast, Kenshou Ono (Touma in “Hell’s Paradise”) can be heard as Yuru and Yume Miyamoto (Himari Azuma in “Demon Slave”) as ASA. The streaming service Crunchyroll shows the series in the Simulcast.
The original manga series of the same name by »Fullmetal Alchemist« creator Hiromu Arakawa has been published in the »Shounen Gangan« magazine since December 2021. The work is available in German under the title “The Band of Underworld” at Altravers.
