On the X-account of the anime adaptation of »Shabake« it was announced today that the series will start on Japanese television on October 3, 2025. You can see a new trailer below.

“Shabake” is created under the direction of director Takahiro Ookawa (“Malevolent Spirits: Mononogatari”) in the studio Bandai Namco Pictures. Touko Machida writes the script, while Akari Minagawa creates the character design.
The ending song with the title “Myaku-myaku”, which can be heard in the trailer, comes from the musician duo Kafuné and the opening song “Inochi No Parade” is contributed by the singer Whale Don’t Sleep (ending song by “Spy X Family”).
The original series of the same name by Megumi Hatanaka has been published with illustrations by Yuu Shibata in Japan since December 2001. The work, which inspired a short anime in July 2021, is not available in German.
