On the X account of the anime adaptation of “The Rising of the Shield Hero” (Japanese: “Tate No Yuusha No Nariagari”), it was announced today that the fourth season on July 9, 2025 will be on Japanese television. You can find a new trailer below.

The twelve-part fourth “Shield Hero” relay is again under the direction of Hitoshi Haga (“Made in Abyss”) in the studio Kinema Citrus. Keigo Koyanagi wrote the script again and Masahiro Suwa creates the character design.
The new ending song “Eien Ni Ikkai No”, which can be heard in the trailer, comes from Chiai Fujikawa, while the rock band Madkid contributes the opening song “Resolution”. The streaming service Crunchyroll shows the sequel to the Simulcast.
All three previous seasons have been available on demand for some time with German and Japanese voice output. The streaming provider also released the third season on Blu-ray at the beginning of this year.
