On the X account of the anime adaptation of “Kakuriyo: Bed & Breakfast for Spirits” (Japanese: “Kakuriyo No Yadomeshi”), it was announced today that the second season on October 1, 2025 will be broadcast on Japanese television.

The second season of “Kakuriyo” is created under the direction of Joe Yoshizaki (“Brilliant Healer”) in the studios Gonzo and Makaria. Tomoko Konparu (“Dance with Devils”) writes the script, while Yoshihiro Sawada creates the character design.
The opening song »Toryanse« and the ending song »Namida No Recipe« are sung by the Japanese voice actress Nao Touyama (ending of »My teen romantic comedy snafu«). Crunchyroll shows the sequel to the Simulcast.
The 26-part first season, which is based on Midori Yuuma’s Light-Novel series of the same name, ran in Japan from April to September 2018 and is already available in this country at Crunchyroll in the original tone with German subtitles.

Aoi Tsubaki not only inherits the ghost from her grandfather to see ghosts, but also his enormous debts with them. Without further ado, she is being kidnapped to the ghost kingdom of Kakuriyo: either she marries the ruler of a destroyed inn or is eaten by Ayakashi.
