
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba – Infinity Castle Arc Part 1: Akaza’s Return continues its impressive box office performance in Japan. Following its historic opening weekend, where it earned over 5.5 billion yen in just three days, the film has now surpassed 12.8 billion yen (approximately 81 million USD) in revenue, with 9,104,483 tickets sold during its first 10 days.
During SDCC 2025 over the past weekend, the anime revealed a new key visual featuring Akaza facing Tanjiro and Giyu. You can check that out below.

The Infinity Castle Arc is the latest installment of the well known Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba series, which has Ufotable handling the animation production. The franchise had already set unprecedented records with Demon Slayer: Mugen Train (2020), which became Japan’s highest-grossing film of all time, surpassing Spirited Away.
The first movie, Akaza’s Returnis the beginning of the trilogy meant to conclude the anime. Following its domestic debut, it is scheduled to launch internationally between August 14 and September 25, 2025.
