Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – Infinity Castle Movie 1 revealed its first full anime trailer, introducing a new theme song by LiSA and Aimer. The anime will premiere in 20 days in Japan on July 18, while it will launch internationally between August 14 and September 25, 2025.
The movie, animated once again by ufotable, will mark the first of a trilogy that will show the final battles of the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba manga. Crunchyroll’s CEO recently said that it will be released on an “unprecedented scale” worldwide.

Aimer performed the opening theme “Zankyou Sanka” and the ending theme “Asa ga Kuru” for Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – Entertainment District Arcmarking her debut in the franchise with two widely acclaimed tracks.

What Will the Infinity Castle Movie 1 Be About

As the Demon Slayer Corps members and Hashira engaged in a group strength training program, the Hashira Training, in preparation for the forthcoming battle against the demons, Muzan Kibutsuji appears at the Ubuyashiki Mansion. With the head of the Demon Corps in danger, Tanjiro and the Hashira rush to the headquarters but are plunged into a deep descent to a mysterious space by the hands of Muzan Kibutsuji.
The destination of where Tanjiro and Demon Slayer Corps have fallen is the demons’ stronghold – the Infinity Castle. And so, the battleground is set as the final battle between the Demon Slayer Corps and the demons ignites.

Background
Koyoharu Gotoge wrote and illustrated the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba manga series. It was serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine from February 2016 to May 2020, ending with a total of 23 published volumes.
The anime adaptation by ufotable began with the 26-episode Season 1, which aired from April to September 2019. Following its success, the sequel movie, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Movie: Mugen Train followed in October 2020 and arguably began the entire anime movie boom.
The movie was then re-edited and shown as part of the 18-episode Season 2, which aired from October 2021 to February 2022. The 11-episode Season 3 aired from April to June 2023, while Season 4 aired from May to June 2024 and set the stage for the endgame.
