A few days ago, the first full-fledged trailer for the first “Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle” film on social networks circulated-but without permission. The rights holder did not leave this leak uncommented. We summarize.

Trailer illustrated illegally

The trailer for continuation of “Demon Slayer” is currently being shown exclusively in the Japanese cinemas as part of the renewed performance of the “Mugen Train” film. If you don’t visit an idea, you can not see it at first.

A marketing strategy that caused a shake of the head for quite a few fans, but of course not excused that the corresponding material was filmed and published on social networks. Accordingly, the rights holders now also indicated consequences about the official X account:

»A stolen video of the trailer for the› Infinity Castle Arc ‹can be seen on the Internet, which is shown at the end of the main film of the re -performance of› Demon Slayer: Mugen Train ‹. The secret filming of films in the cinema is a crime under the law to prevent unauthorized film recordings. «

High threat of punishment

It was also pointed out that the uploading of stolen film material on social networks was a copyright infringement and in both cases punished violations of up to ten years and/or a fine of up to ten million yen (around 61,240 euros).

It was not expressly spoken of the introduction of legal steps, but the fact that the text was published not only in Japanese, but also in English, underlines the seriousness of the warning.

Several Japanese commentators supported the contribution and referred to the 18 -year -old “No More Euga Dorobo” campaign (no more film thieves), which after the adoption of the law to prevent unauthorized film recordings in May 2007 and indicates this in the cinema halls with commercials.

It has not yet been known when the trailer will be officially published on the Internet. However, it is already clear that the first part of the “Infinity Castle” trilogy starts in Japan on July 18, 2025 and on September 18, 2025 in the cinema. Thus, the waiting time should be limited to new images.
