In a few weeks, Crunchyroll will bring a Collector’s Edition to the anime adaptation of “Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End”. In keeping with this, the publisher now revealed the design and the extras. We summarize the details.
Release in October 2025
The Collector’s Edition is expected to appear on October 17, 2025 as a Blu-ray with all 28 episodes of the first season in German and Japanese. The new edition is packed as a suitcase in which a slipcase, an artbook, an acrystic runter, seven Shikishis, three art cards, seven stickers and a trailer can be found.
The Studio Madhouse was responsible for the production of the fantasy anime, which was broadcast on Japanese television between September 2023 and March 2024, in which Keiichirou Saitou (“Bocchi the Rock!”) Director directed.
Crunchyroll already offers all 28 episodes on call and also released them in two volumes on DVD and Blu-ray. In addition, the streaming service also shows the second season, which starts in January 2026, in the Simulcast.
