A few days ago, the latest movie to “Detective Conan” reached an important milestone in Japan – and thus once again showed that the franchise is currently more in demand than ever. We summarize the details.
10 million visitors
On April 18, 2025, the 28th film by the “Detective Conan” series celebrated its premiere in the Japanese cinemas. After 90 days of term, this was able to crack the 10 million tickets sold on July 16, 2025. The strip achieved income of 14.4 billion yen (around 83 million euros).
This means that the evening filler entitled “The Flashback of the one-eyed” is the second film of the franchise that has reached the 10 million mark. Before that, the previous film “The 1 million dollar Pentagram” succeeded a year ago after 52 days.
In this country, “The flashback of the one -eyed” starts on August 26, 2025 with German setting and in the original sound with subtitles in the cinema. “The 1 million dollar Pentagram” was released on June 20, 2025 on DVD and Blu-ray.
