The publisher Peppermint Anime has announced new details on the planned disc release of the other »Rascal does not dream« films. We summarize.

The two sequel films with the titles »Rascal Does not Dream of a Sister Venturing Out« and »Rascal does not dream of a Knapsack Kid« will first be released together in a limited edition with Schuber on Blu-ray on December 5, 2025, before they are published individually as a standard output on February 28, 2026.
A pre-order is now possible as part of an »early bird« advance in the Akiba Pass Shop. For a short time, buyers get a 4 percent discount on the Limited Edition and a 5 percent discount on the two individual expenses.
The two sequel films that connect to »Rascal does not dream of a dreaming girl« were created under the direction of Souichi Masui in the studio cloverwork. The Japanese premiere took place in June and December 2023.
Akiba Pass TV already offers both strips in the original version with subtitles on call. The new sequel series “Rascal Does Not Dream of Santa Claus” has been seen in the original sound with subtitles at Crunchyroll in the Simulcast since July 5, 2025.
