If you are interested in a subscription to Disney+, you have to dig deeper into your pocket from now on, because the streaming service has increased its prices not only in the United States, but also in Germany. We summarize.
Renewed increase
Although the last price adjustment only took place last year and with a surcharge of one to two euros per month ensured heated minds, there is now the next increase – but initially only for new customers.
From now on, new users have to shell out one euro more for the standard subscription with or without advertising, which increases the monthly costs to 6.99 euros and 10.99 euros. The premium variant is more expensive by two euros to 15.99 euros.
The latter tariff, which in November 2023, is particularly noticeable, which replaced the former standard model for 8.99 euros per month and initially cost 11.99 euros per month. Less than two years later, the price is already four euros higher.
The price increase is currently hidden behind a three -month discount campaign, so that the above prices are only due from the fourth month. In the first three months you only pay 2.99 euros for standard with advertising, 5.99 euros for standard without advertising and 9.99 euros for Premium if you choose a subscription to Disney+ by September 27, 2025.
Nothing changes for existing customers for the time being, because Disney+ would have had to point out the price increase, which has not yet happened. However, it is unlikely that this will stay that way in the long term.
