A few days ago, the Astra TV Awards 2025 was awarded and the big winner, for once, does not mean “solo leveling”. We summarize.

While “Solo Leveling” was able to clear up a few weeks ago at the Crunchyroll Anime Awards in 2025 and was also honored as “anime of the year”, the series at the Astra TV Awards was denied.
Instead, “Dragon Ball Daima” was recognized as “best anime series”. The title prevailed against strong competitors such as “Solo Leveling”, “Fire Force”, “Dan Da Dan”, “Lazarus” and “The Apothecary Diaries”.
However, “Solo Leveling” did not go away completely: The anime also appears on the winner list-Aleks Le, the English voice of Sung Jinwoo, was awarded for the best synchronized performance (including live action productions).
The success of “Dragon Ball Daima” once again demonstrates the unbroken popularity of the traditional franchise, which could soon celebrate the next triumph. The anime is also nominated for the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards 2025.
