It was recently announced on the official X account of “Detective Conan” (Japanese: “Meitantei Conan”) that the next episode of the series will be released later. We summarize the details for you below.
Simulcast bei Crunchyroll
Contrary to the original plan, the 1180th episode of “Detective Conan” will not be broadcast on October 25, 2025, but will probably only be shown on Japanese television a week later. Instead, the remastered version of episode 296 (318) with the title “Fright on the Houseboat” will be shown on this date.
The postponement also affects the simulcast on Crunchyroll, which only started last week in the original sound with German subtitles.
“Detective Conan” is based on the original manga series of the same name by Gosho Aoyama, which has been published in Shogakukan’s “Shounen Sunday” magazine since February 1994. The anime adaptation has been shown in Japan since January 1996.
