PARIS / LONDON (dpa-AFX) – Europe’s recently friendly stock exchanges visibly lost momentum on Wednesday. Experts saw the rising yields on the bond market as a negative factor.
In line with the likewise dwindling momentum on the US stock market, the leading eurozone index, the EuroStoxx 50 (EURO STOXX 50), closed 0.21 percent higher at 3471.24 points. The leading index of the Eurozone only a small portion of its at times more significant gains. The French CAC 40 lost 0.43 percent to 6040.72 points, while the British FTSE 100 fell by 0.17 percent to 6924.99 points./gl/he
