A first trailer was released today on the official website of the upcoming anime adaptation of “Magical Girl Raising Project Restart” (Japanese: “Mahou Shoujo Ikusei Keikaku Restart”). You can find the video below.
Starting next year
The new series will be produced under the direction of director Hiroyuki Hashimoto (“Is the Order a Rabbit?”) at the Synergy SP studio. Takao Yoshioka (“Boarding School Juliet”) is again writing the script, while Masako Itou is doing the character design.
The opening song “No tears here”, which can be heard in the trailer, comes from Minori Chihara (ending of “Violet Evergarden”). The ending song “ReMind” is sung by Daisy×Daisy. The start is planned for next year.
The light novel series of the same name by Asari Endou was published in Japan between November and December 2012 with illustrations by Maruino. The predecessor “Magical Girl Raising Project” was released in June 2012 and served as the basis for the twelve-part first anime adaptation, which aired in fall 2016.
