The Japanese publisher Comic Elmo announced today that the fantasy manga “eleven Living in Kanagawa” (Japanese: “Kanagawa ni Sunderu Elves”) receives a light anime adaptation. A first picture of the announcement is available below in this article.
Start in December 2025
The new fantasy light anime “Elf Living in Kanagawa” will be on Japanese television after current planning in December 2025. A specific start date is still pending. We keep you up to date.
A light anime is less a classic anime, but more an “animated manga” that brings the panels of the original to life.
The underlying manga series comes from Yoroida and has been released in »Micro Magazine« since August 2020. So far, three volumes have been in Japanese trade. The work is not available in this country.

In 2020, elves lost their home forests through a fire and settle down in Kanagawa near Tokyo. They now live openly among people in cities like Yokohama, Yokosuka, Chigasaki or Sagamihara.
