Japanese company TV Asahi announced today that the fantasy novel “Magic Repo Man: Dumped by My Party, I’ll Cash In With a Cute Support Fairy to Become the Strongest!” is getting an anime adaptation as a TV series.

»Magic Repo Man« is directed by Takahiro Tamano (“The Foolish Angel Dances with the Devil”) at the Synergy SP studio. Ryousuke Mori is writing the script, while Kazue Mori is contributing the character design. The launch is expected to take place over the course of next year.

A manga adaptation by Shingou Iijima debuted in “Comic Meteor” magazine in April 2023. The US publisher Seven Seas Entertainment will bring the work onto the market with an English translation from September 2026.
