By opening an official website, it was announced today that the fantasy novel “Potation Will Save Me” (Jap.: “Potion, Wagami Wo Tasukeru”) receives a light anime adaptation as a TV series. You can find a first teaser and a visual below.
Start in October 2025
The anime implementation of “Potation Will Save Me” is produced in Japanese television under the direction of Mikiko Furukawa (“Moriarty’s Perfect Crime”) in the studios Imagica Imagica and is expected to start in October 2025.
The “Light Anime” process is used in production, which means that the series is more an “animated manga” than a classic anime. The last project of the two studios was “Your Broken Saintess”.
The original Light Novel of the same name by Akira Iwafune has been published since April 2015 with illustrations by Sunaho Tobe in Japanese trade. The work is currently neither available with German nor with English translation.
