The opening of an official website today announced that the fantasy novel “The Villager of Level 999” (Japanese: “Level 999 No Murabito”) receives an anime adaptation in the form of a TV series. You can find a first teaser and a visual below.

The anime implementation of “The Villager of Level 999” is created under the direction of director Yoshinobu Kasai (Episode Director at “Battle in 5 Seconds”) in the studio Brain’s Base. Shinzou Fujita (“to your eternity”) wrote the script, while Kentarou Matsumoto (“in/Specter”) contributes to character design.
In the main roles of the Japanese cast, Satoshi Inomata (Shuugo Hoshikawa in “Anyway, I’m Falling in Love with you.”) As Koji Kagami and Nao Touyama (Ruka Sarashina in “Rent-A-Girlfriend”) as Alice. After current planning, the series starts on Japanese television in the course of the next year.
The original Light Novel of the same name by Koneko Hoshitsuki was released from April 2016 to January 2019 in eight volumes with illustrations by Fuumi in Japan. A manga adaptation by Kenichi Iwamoto started in May 2017 in the »Comp ace« magazine.
