1000 hp Power All Wheel Drive, SF90 Stradale The car of many ‘firsts’
Ferrari has finally introduced the SF90 Stradale, its first plug-in hybrid model. Winning the title of the most powerful Ferrari ever with 1000 hp, the Stradale is not just a V12; The V8 is powered by the engine.
Referring to the 90th anniversary of Scuderia Ferrari, the SF90 Stradale is powered by a turbo V8 and three electric motors. While the most powerful eight-cylinder engine in the history of the brand produces 780 hp, electrical power complements the remaining 220 hp. The MGU-K (Engine Generator Unit – Kinetic) used in Formula 1 cars is positioned between the V8 and the new 8-speed dual-clutch transmission and powers the rear axle with the V8. The other two electric motors drive the front axle.
