Decades after the release of Rumiko Takahashi’s “Ranma 1/2,” fans can finally buy Shampoo’s shampoo. We summarize below.
Long overdue
It’s hard to believe that it took 38 years for someone to come up with the great idea of bringing a hair shampoo based on the character Shampoo from “Ranma 1/2” onto the market – but better late than never!
NatureLab Tokyo, a Japanese manufacturer of hair care products, recently presented its shampoo series “Diane Perfect Beauty” with illustrations of the characters Shampoo and Ranma as part of a collaboration with “Ranma 1/2”. The prices are respectively 1,463 yen and 1,320 yen (around 7 to 9 euros).

The collaboration officially runs until November 30, 2025. Buyers who purchase “Diane Perfect Beauty” products worth at least 2,000 yen by then will receive one of two sticker sets featuring shampoo and their cat.
