The video-on-demand service ADN announced today that the license on the first season of “Attack on Titan” (Japanese: “Shineki No Kyojin”) has been secured, which will return to legal streaming after a long time. We summarize.

From July 15, 2025, the first “Attack on Titan” relay will be available with German subtitles at ADN with both the well-known German dubbing and in the Japanese original sound.
The 25-part debut relay, which was broadcast on Japanese television from April to September 2013, was created under the direction of Tetsurou Araki (“Bubble”) in the studio WIT. Two more seasons followed between April 2017 and July 2019 before the series switched to Mappa in December 2020 for the »Final Season« (season 4 + TV specials).
All four seasons were already published by Crunchyroll (until season 4, Part 1: Kazé Anime) on DVD and Blu-ray as well as on demand. However, the first season has not been available for some time.
