The Japanese anime studio Kinema Citrus announced new details on the upcoming original series »Goodbye, Lara« today. There is a first teaser below.
Start next year
“Goodbye, Lara” is produced under the direction of Takushi Koid (“Revue Starlight”) in the studio Kinema Citrus. Anna Kawahara wrote the script, while Shiori Tani (“Star Wars: Visions”) contributes the character design.
In the main role of the Lara, the Japanese voice spokeswoman Hana Hishikawa, who is also known as Minami Shiunji in “The Shiunji Family Children”, can be heard. The series starts on Japanese television in the course of next year.
Kinema Citrus previously produced the anime adaptations of “Made in Abyss”, “My very special wedding” and “The Rising of the Shield Hero”. The studio celebrates its 18th anniversary in March 2026.
