
A first trailer for the upcoming anime adaptation of “Hell Mode: The Hardcore Gamer Dominates in Another World with Garbage Balancing” was released today on the official X account. You can find the video below.

The anime adaptation of “Hell Mode” (Japanese: “Hell Mode: Yarikomi Suki no Gamer wa Haisettei no Isekai de Musou Suru”) is being directed by Masato Tamagawa (“The Genius Prince”) at the Yokohama Animation Lab studio. Daishirou Tanimura is writing the script while Kei Tsushima is doing the character design.
The opening song entitled “Haku”, which can be heard in the trailer, comes from the Japanese band Atarayo (opening of the second “The Dangers in My Heart” season) and the ending song “Sanctuary” is contributed by the singer Kaya. The fantasy series starts on Japanese television in January 2026.
The original light novel series of the same name written by Hamuo has been published in Japan since July 2020 with illustrations by Mo. A manga adaptation by Enji Tetta debuted on the “Comic Earth Star Online” website in October 2020.
