Today, a trailer for the second courage of the series, which starts on June 29, 2025 with the 13th episode, was published on the official X-account of the anime adaptation of »Witch Watch«. We summarize.
Simulcast with four providers
“Witch Watch” is created under the direction of Hiroshi Ikehata (“Management of a Novice Alchemist”) in the studio Bibury Animation. Hitomi Mieno (“You Are Ms. Servant”) wrote the script, while Haruko IIzuka creates the character design.
The comedy series has been running on Japanese television as well as at ADN, Aniversse, Crunchyroll and Netflix in the original setting with German subtitles in the Simulcast since April 6, 2025. A German version follows a short time later.
The new opening song entitled “Tokihanate!” Dates from Hashimelo and the Ending song “Tsuki to Watashi No Kakurenbo” is contributed by the Japanese rock band Yutori (ending song by “My Hero Academia: Vigilantes”).
The original manga series of the same name by Kenta Shinohara has been published in the »Weekly Shonen Jump« magazine since February 2021. In Germany, the work is available by the Egmont Manga publishing house with German translation.

After completing her witch training, Nico, a bright teen witch, moves to her childhood friend Morihito, a calm, human-looking oger that is designed to be a family to protect them from a dark prophecy.
Together they plunge into chaotic magical misfortunes while tender feelings develop – an imaginative, humorous school -romcom.
