The Recording Academy announced that the hit Netflix film “KPop Demon Hunters” has been nominated in five categories for the 2026 Grammy Awards.

The title song “Golden” by the fictional band HUNTR/X stands out in particular, which is up for election in the three categories “Song of the Year”, “Best Pop Duo/Group Performance” and “Best Song for Visual Media”.
This nomination hardly comes as a surprise, after all, the song topped the Billboard charts for several weeks and was even officially named the summer hit of 2025 in Germany.
In addition, the remix “Golden – David Guetta REM/X” by French DJ David Guetta received a nomination in the “Best Remix Recording” category. The film’s entire soundtrack was nominated for Best Compiled Soundtrack for Visual Media.
The Grammy Awards, the most important US music prize, are presented annually in currently 94 categories. The next award ceremony is scheduled for February 1, 2026. We will keep you updated on the results.
