The Singaporian company Garena recently announced that the video game »Free Fire« received an anime adaptation. You can find a first teaser below.

“Free Fire” is produced under the direction of director Ken Takahashi (“Ragna Crimson”) in the studio Candy Box (“Blue Archive The Animation”). The media group Kadokawa is involved as a producer and takes over the global sales.
More information, such as the other participants in the production, the occupation of the Japanese voice actors and a start date, are still pending. We keep you up to date.
The anime is based on the original free Battle Royale game of the same name, which was developed by Garena for Android and iOS and published in December 2017. In September 2021, “Free Fire Max” followed a revised version.

In »Free Fire«, the players control their figure from the third-person perspective. With the fire button you can shoot or throw objects. In addition, the character masters movements such as jumping, crawling and laying flat on the floor.
