The most recent crunchyroll marketing campaigns in India seem to have clearly worth it: After the streaming service »Gachiakuta« has promoted intensively in the most populous country in the world in recent months, the title has now become the most successful anime in the summer of 2025.
Most viewed anime in summer
According to the official X account of the anime series, “Gachiakuta” was able to generate the highest number of calls on the platform between July and September 2025 and thus hits like “My Dress-Up”, “Kaiju No. 8 «and» Dan da Dan «leave behind.
So far, Crunchyroll has not shared any statistics on the 2025 summer season. Since “Gachiakuta” will continue in autumn 2025, it remains to be seen whether the anime can confirm its success in the next three months.
The anime adaptation of the Manga series of the same name by Kei Urana is being created under the direction of Fumihiko Suganuma (Episode Director at “The Day I Became a God”) in the Bones Film. A total of 24 episodes are planned.
