Gala revealed new action visuals for Riyo Reaper, Zanka and Enjin ahead of the anime’s return on July 27. This all part of Rudo’s birthday celebration week, which started with a special illustration of his own on July 20.
Episode 3 was delayed from its initial release date due to election coverage in Japan, and it will premiere this Sunday instead.
Crunchyroll is streaming the anime, which recently confirmed 2 consecutive cours. Kei Urana writes and draws the Gala manga, which is serialized in Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Magazine. There is a total of 15 volumes as of June 17, while Kodansha USA has been releasing it in English since January 2024.
We had a chance to interview Kei Urana and Hideyoshi Andou, the creators of Galaat this year’s Anime Expo 2025 earler this month. Also present was the anime’s producer Naoki Amano, and the three spoke about the anime adaptation and its production process. The staff for the anime includes:
